Financial

  1. CKNB course registration fee: no cost, $0.00 – without membership, participant pays $15.00 per course
  2. reduced CKNB membership fee if member of a CKNB associated club: $10.00 (normal membership is $15.00 for the individual)
  3. Paddling bursaries: member may apply for bursaries available only from CKNB
  4. Discount to attend the Atlantic Paddling Symposium

Non-Financial

  1. individual members are “governing” members: eligible to one vote, eligibility to serve on the executive and consequently, to help set aims & goals for CKNB
  2. benefit from network of paddlers and/or clubs
  3. knowledge: safety, skill development, heritage, environment
  4. provincial voice to influence larger issues effecting paddling and paddling environment
